Task Description

In this activity, pupils take on the role of a character from a story or adopt the role of an expert using factual information they have read. Other pupils ask them questions and they respond ‘in role’ using the information from the story or text to support their answers.

This activity supports:

  • oracy and presentation skills

  • ability to speak in role convincingly

  • recall of facts and information

  • role play and drama

This activity can be done by:

  • whole class or in groups
