Speak Like an Expert

'Speak Like an Expert' is an oracy task. Pupils are given a role, or they can choose one, and then speak as if they are that person. Or, they can be given a topic to speak about as an ‘expert’.

This activity supports:

• oracy and presentation skills

• ability to speak in role convincingly

• recall of facts and information

• role play and drama

This activity can be done by:

• whole class or in groups
