Task Description
‘Say it!’ is a task in which pupils choose a word from a collection and use it in a sentence. The words might link with a fiction or non-fiction text or other topics, themes, or concepts.
This activity supports:
vocabulary building and using words in sentences, as well as being able to define them
This activity can be done by:
pairs
groups
Resources:
pre-prepared cards with words or facts written on them, or blank cards - two colours is preferable
a timer (optional)
