First, access the admin interface by choosing the cog in the top right of the screen. Then select Admin from the dropdown menu.

1. Manage School Leavers

Begin by moving any pupils who are leaving the school into their own class, for example called 'School Leavers 2025'.

If all pupils in a class are leaving, you can simply rename the class: select Classes from the menu bar, choose the Edit icon, rename and select Save.

Alternatively, you can create a new class by selecting Classes and Add a new class.

To move pupils into your school leavers class:

Select Pupils from the menu bar, then Allocate pupils.
Select your school leavers. You can filter by class, if required.
Use the panel at the top of the page and the dropdown lists to choose which class(es) the learners should be added to or removed from.

2. Review Your Class List

Take a moment to check that your list of classes reflects what your school will use this year. Select Classes from the menu bar to view.

You can create any new classes. Where the majority of pupils remain grouped together, we recommend you rename the class and in the next step you can reallocate pupils.

3. Reallocate Pupils

Next, you should reallocate pupils to their new classes.

To move pupils from one class to another:

Select Pupils from the menu bar, then Allocate pupils.
Select pupils. You can filter by class, if required.
Use the panel at the top of the page and the dropdown lists to choose which class(es) the learners should be added to or removed from.

We recommend you start with your oldest pupils. For example, if you had a Year 4/5 previously, you could start by selecting the Year 5s (who are now Year 6) and move them to Year 6 or Year 5/6. Your Year 4s (who are now Year 5, can then either stay in the Year 4/5 class, or you can reallocate them if needed, for example to a Year 5/6 or single Year 5.

4. Reallocate Teachers

Once your classes are set and pupils have been moved, reassign teachers to the correct class(es).

You can do this by choosing Teachers from the menu bar, and then Allocate teachers. Use the Select classes option next to each teacher's name to choose which class(es) teachers should be allocated to and removed from.
